PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASIS OF PROCESSING
Your personal data, such as name, address, email address, telephone/mobile number, are processed for the purposes of institutional communication and information from the Municipality of São João da Madeira and/or entities involved in it. As part of data processing, corresponding mailing lists will be created and updated. Said institutional/informational communication includes means such as Newsletters, emails and/or short message service (“sms”).
You can unsubscribe at any time using any of the methods described above, by clicking “Unsubscribe from this list” in the footer of our newsletters. Alternatively, you can also do so via the following email address: rgpd@cm-sjm.pt.
ACCESS TO PERSONAL DATA, ITS UPDATE, RECTIFICATION and/or DELETION AND OTHER RIGHTS
As the holder of personal data, at any time you have the right to request the Municipal Council of São João da Madeira, access to your personal data, as well as its updating, rectification or deletion, and the limitation of processing in relation to you, and , as well as the right to object to processing, as well as the right to data portability, in the other terms provided for in the GDPR and applicable legislation.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a Control Authority, that is, with the National Data Protection Commission (CNPD).
Please note that, as the holder of personal data concerning you, you have the right to withdraw consent at any time, without compromising the lawfulness of the processing carried out based on previously given consent. You must communicate any changes to your personal data in order to keep them up to date.
STORAGE LIFE
Personal data will be kept by the Municipality of São João da Madeira, for the period of use necessary to achieve the purpose of the processing for which they were requested. Once the period justifying its conservation has ended, the data will be destroyed within an appropriate period for that purpose.
